Wood-fired Hot Tub XL 1.9m diameter (4-6 people, internal heater)

The Wood-fired Hot Tub XL is a generous 1.9 m round soaking tub that seats four to six people, built for an open-air hot soak in the garden, on the deck or terrace. It heats with wood alone, so there is no plumbing to connect and no chemicals to manage.

Settle into the warm water and let it do its work. The heat eases muscular tension and helps you unwind at the end of the day, whether you soak alone or share the tub with family and friends.

The tub is made from kiln-dried Scandinavian spruce, heat-treated for stable dimensions and long life. Extra-thick 58 mm sidewalls add insulation, so the water heats faster and holds its warmth longer, especially with the wooden cover in place. This model has an internal submerged heater that sits in the water for efficient, fast heat-up with little heat loss. A wooden safety guard separates the heater from the bathing area.

Set the hot tub on a stable, level and free-draining base such as a timber deck with adequate load-bearing capacity, a concrete pad or pavers, with the support frame bearing evenly across a solid surface. If in doubt about the ground or the load, consult a foundation specialist before you fill the tub. Where the timber is supplied untreated, apply at least two coats of exterior finish to the outside faces and cut ends, and recoat before the finish starts to fail.

It is normal for a wooden hot tub to weep a little when it is first filled. The timber needs time to take up water and swell, and as it does the staves tighten against each other and the small gaps close, so the seepage settles on its own. A little silicone sealant can help ease any persistent early drips.

Where a listing indicates depot delivery, delivery is free to our freight depots in the Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney metro areas, and quoted before purchase for destinations beyond those areas. Free warehouse pickup is available. Smaller items and accessories are sent by standard post or courier to your home address, with shipping shown at checkout.

Larger products are supplied as flat-pack kits on pallets. The number of pallets, their dimensions and their weights vary by product and are shown with each product.

You may collect your order from our warehouse or the depot, or arrange delivery from the depot to your final destination at your cost. Most depots offer delivery from the depot to your address. Unloading, access and any equipment required are organised by you with the depot or your chosen delivery provider.

Products held in stock are dispatched within 1 to 4 business days of receipt of payment. Made to order products carry a lead time of 8 to 14 weeks.

Our timber products are delivered as securely packaged, weatherproof flat packs. Construction materials, doors, windows, fixtures, hardware, and any optionally added products are included as detailed in the description. This ensures safe delivery and storage.
