Yes, when the hut is set up and used the way it is designed to be. These buildings are designed around a central fire or grill. A flue and a roof vent carry the smoke out. The fire sits on a non-combustible base.

Install the flue correctly and keep the clearances from timber. Ventilate while the fire is burning. Never leave the fire unattended. Follow the instructions supplied with your hut and with your stove. Check any fire restrictions or bushfire rules that apply where you live.

Most customers assemble their hut themselves or with a handyperson. Kits arrive flat packed with pre cut timber, the fixings and an illustrated assembly guide. You follow the sequence rather than measuring and cutting.

A BBQ hut asks more of you than a simple shed, because of the roof and the flue. Plan on having help on the day and allow several days. A bigger building takes longer. Some buyers bring in a builder for the roof stage or a licensed trade to fit the flue.

Refresh the coating in accordance with the manufacturer's recommended schedule.

How long a hut lasts comes down to the level of protection you give the timber, using products suited to the job, and steady upkeep. Timber also moves with heat and humidity. Expect to adjust the door and window over the first year, and with the seasons after that.

From the depot you can pick up for free, or arrange delivery to your property with the depot. Items held in stock are dispatched within one to four business days. Made to order buildings take roughly eight to fourteen weeks. They're manufactured in Europe and shipped once your order is placed.
