The Barrel Sauna M-EL is a 2.5 metre barrel sauna sized for four to six people, bringing a genuine Nordic sauna ritual into your backyard. At 1.9 metres across, the round barrel shape heats efficiently and circulates warmth evenly, so the whole room comes up to temperature together.

Inside is deep, dry heat that loosens tired muscles, aids recovery and helps you unwind, with a soft steam thrown from water on the hot stones. Heat comes from a genuine Harvia Vega BC80 electric heater from Finland, rated at 8 kW and mounted low so the lower benches also get good steam. Electric suits buyers who want simple, controlled warmth at the turn of a dial, with nothing to feed or tend.

The build is kiln-dried certified Scandinavian spruce with extra-thick 58 mm side walls for insulation and chemical-free production. The roof is finished in bitumen shingles and the barrel is drawn tight with stainless-steel bands. A lockable door with a large window, plus windows in the front and back walls, let daylight in, while timber benches line both sides.

Premium extras are included at no extra charge: two head rests, a thermometer and hygrometer, backrests, a wooden spoon and bucket set, a sauna light and cover, a clothes hanger, a stainless-steel door sill, and a safety fence for the heater.

Start with the supports. A barrel sauna sits on cradles rather than foundation joists, so the ground beneath needs to be level, have sufficient bearing capacity and free draining across the full 190 x 250 cm footprint, with the cradles bearing evenly on a solid surface. Pavers, a concrete pad or timber sleepers all work. Check that each cradle is carrying its share before assembly continues. If in doubt, always consult a foundation specialist.

Keep the packs flat, dry and off the ground until you are ready. Where the timber is supplied untreated, apply at least two coats of exterior finish to the outside faces and cut ends, and recoat before the finish starts to fail.

Assemble in the order shown in the provided manuals. Timber is a living material. It shrinks and expands with changes in temperature and humidity. This is normal, and it means occasional adjustments to the doors and tension straps over the first few months and with the seasons thereafter.

Larger products are supplied as flat-pack kits on pallets. The number of pallets, their dimensions and their weights vary by product and are shown with each product.

You may collect your order from our warehouse or the depot, or arrange delivery from the depot to your final destination at your cost. Most depots offer delivery from the depot to your address. Unloading, access and any equipment required are organised by you with the depot or your chosen delivery provider.

Products held in stock are dispatched within 1 to 4 business days of receipt of payment. Made to order products carry a lead time of 8 to 14 weeks.

Our timber products are delivered as securely packaged, weatherproof flat packs. Construction materials, doors, windows, fixtures, hardware, and any optionally added products are included as detailed in the description. This ensures safe delivery and storage.
